HACO’s environmental policy
HACO has implemented its environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001: 2015 and has prepared the following environmental policy:
“As a supplier to the energy sector, with a focus on green energy, HACO intends to contribute to the lowest environmental impact in the manufacturing process.”
We strive to fulfil our environmental policy through continuous development and optimisation of our machinery, technology, and production methods. In addition, we make sure that:
- our environmental goals and objectives are continuously improved, thus minimizing environmental impacts.
- we continue to comply with relevant legal requirements, as well as other requirements which HACO is subject to.
- environmental management is a contributing factor in ensuring HACO’s continued growth.
- we work for continuous improvement and prevention of pollution.
That’s why we use ISO 14001:2015 at HACO
ISO 14001:2015 is a system that both customers, partners, and authorities recognise, and therefore we have chosen to work according to this. This system enables us to assess our environmental conditions and to proactively implement the environmental and sustainability initiatives as part of the core of our business.
With ISO 14001:2015, we have the opportunity to focus on the most important environmental conditions at HACO, and ensure the reduction of environmental impact and continuous environmental improvements.
HACO is continuously working towards a greener production
ISO 14001:2015 has given us the tools for a more environmentally friendly way of working, and we think environmentally in all new developments and optimisations. It doesn’t stop here though. HACO has several environmental and energy saving projects in store, and we are also continuously working on improvements of our processes, products, and services.
The latest initiative in the environmental mindset, is the recently signed cooperation agreement which has been signed jointly with a consultancy firm.
HACO wants to go further in the field of Circular Economics (CE) and take a position on the UN’s 17 World Goals. This is a natural step for us, being a supplier to the wind turbine industry. Throughout the industry, there is a large focus on CO2 neutrality and minimisation of residual waste. It is expected to be an idea that is done through HACO and our suppliers. We expect the project to be completed by the end of 2023. More on that later ……
